Deakins Design Group is a full-service interior design firm with experience in all facets of the design process, from project and construction management to overseeing the decorating and accessorizing phase.

Projects completed include residences in New York City, the Hamptons, Boston, Cape Cod, and Florida. DDG adapts to each client and scope of work; we offer complete project design and consultations. Project services include layout, interior architectural design, presentation and selection of furniture, fixtures, finishes and materials, project management, budgeting, purchasing, tracking and installation.

DDG’s Consulting services vary greatly and are determined by the needs of each individual client. Deakins Design Group never views any project or budget as too small and believes in accessible design for everyone. Any of the services listed above can be selected individually, whether you simply need a new furniture layout to update your home or professional assistance working with contractors and specifying new finishes for a renovation.

JESSICA DE KLER / PRINCIPAL

Jessica grew up surrounded by fabric, drafting pens, and general contractors – her mother worked as an interior designer for 30 years. Jessica received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Miami and her Associates of Applied Science from the New York School of Interior Design, where she graduated magna cum laude. She has worked on residential and commercial projects throughout the country, at both architecture and interior design firms including Cetra/Ruddy and Thom Filicia Inc.

Jessica firmly believes that great design is born out of collaboration and enjoys cultivating lasting relationships with clients, project team members, and artisans. She believes in utilizing a client-driven approach and earnestly discusses each project with the client to fully understand their vision. Jessica considers herself a chameleon when it comes to choosing a favorite style or period of design, which is a characteristic that allows her to truly give clients a home bespoke to their own aesthetic. Regardless of style, she feels most at home in spaces that combine a fresh, modern adaptability with historical patina, and imbues this sensibility throughout all project designs.
